This Privacy Policy is between you and Senior Homeshares, a Colorado nonprofit corporation, together with its affiliates and assignees (collectively “Senior Homeshares”), and provides you with details on the information we collect from you and the uses we may make of your Personal Information (“PI”). By accessing or using Senior Homeshares’ web and mobile application SeniorHomeshares.com (the “Site”), or by providing information to use in connection with the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, or do not understand it, please exit the Site immediately or terminate your account by submitting an email to Member Service.
Your use of the Site will always be governed by the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use posted at the time, whether you have reviewed them or not.
PERSONS UNDER 13
The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 13 and we have no intention of collecting PI from children under 13. If you are under the age of 13 or would otherwise be restricted from registering a social media account because of your age, please do not attempt to create an account on the Site or provide us with us with any PI of any kind.

ACCOUNT INFORMATION AND CONTENT
In order to use the Site, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give their contact information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact the user about the services on the Site for which they have expressed interest.
We collect the content and other information (collectively “Content”) that results when you use the Site, including when you create or share information, when you email or communicate with others on the Site, and when others post information about you. This information is used to provide the services of the Site to its users.
Users who choose to make a donation must provide contact information and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes. If we have trouble processing a payment, this contact information is used to get in touch with the user.
t is important that you do not share your personal account or your account password with anyone. Doing so will compromise our ability to protect your PI.
When a member creates or posts Content to the public areas of the Site, he or she shares it with the SeniorHomeshares.com community at large. In some cases, the Content may also be visible to other people visiting the Site. Therefore, if a member chooses to post information on the Site, he or she automatically makes that information public, not only to the SeniorHomeshares.com community, but also potentially to non-members. Therefore, you should have no expectation of privacy in the Content you post to the public areas of the Site.
Except as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy, any Content provided when you use the Site may be used by Senior Homeshares in connection with the hosting, distribution, and provision of access to the Site, its content and services, as well as customer support and enforcement of its Terms of Use.
In addition to disclosures that you specifically authorize, Senior Homeshares may disclose PI as follows: (1) to comply with legal requirements such as a law, regulation, search warrant, subpoena or court order; (2) in response to a physical threat to you or others; (3) to protect property or to defend or assert legal rights; or (4) in connection with a transaction or proceeding involving the transfer of all or part of our business relating to the information, or involving the transfer of control of those assets involved in such business. In the event that Senior Homeshares is legally compelled to disclose your PI to a third party, we will attempt to notify you, unless doing so would violate the law or court order. Any and all attempts by Senior Homeshares to provide notification will be made solely by email to the email address that you used when you registered with the Site.
COOKIES
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Every computer that accesses the Site is assigned a different cookie by the Site. These cookies store tracking codes to enable our system to locate information from past visits to the Site, but do not contain information that identifies you personally. LOG FILES
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.
AGGREGATE DATA
Senior Homeshares may combine any public information you provide with information from other users to create aggregate data to display on the Site. This information may include, but is not limited to, any PI information you have submitted to the Site. This aggregate information may also be disclosed to third parties. Aggregate data does not contain any information that could be used to contact you or identify you personally.

This web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that Senior Homeshares is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave the Site and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by SeniorHomeshares.com.
SITE AND SERVICE UPDATES
We also send the user announcements about site and service updates. Members are not able to unsubscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about the service. We communicate with the user to provide requested services and to address issues relating to their account, via email or phone.
DISCLOSURE TO SENIOR HOMESHARES STAFF
Senior Homeshares staff sometimes has limited access to your PI in the course of providing services to you and other members, to troubleshoot problems or resolve complaints. Other than as expressly approved by you, access to your PI is limited to the information reasonably necessary for the employee to perform the function needed to resolve the issue or to improve the service.
DISCLOSURE TO SENIOR HOMESHARES OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE CONTRACTORS
Senior Homeshares operations and maintenance contractors sometimes have limited access to your PI in the course of providing products or services for the Site. These contractors include vendors and suppliers that provide us with technology, services, and/or content for the operation and maintenance of the Site. Access to your PI by these contractors is limited to the information reasonably necessary for the contractor to perform its limited function for the Site.
DISCLOSURE TO AFFILIATES
We may disclose the information we collect from you to our affiliates or subsidiaries in connection the provision of services via the Site; however, if we do so, their use and disclosure will be subject to this Privacy Policy.
UPDATING AND REMOVING YOUR INFORMATION
You have the right to access, correct and delete inaccuracies in your PI at any time. With respect to registration information, this may be accomplished by logging in to your account on the Site, where you can view and make changes to your PI.
You may have limited rights to edit or remove any Content that you post, share or otherwise distribute on the Site that includes your PI, depending on the specific portion of the Site on which it is posted. For example, a member will not have the ability to edit or delete information posted in a public forum but may submit a request to Senior Homeshares to remove such information by sending an email to Member Service.
Notwithstanding whether a member has an ability to edit or delete information seen by others, it is imperative for members to understand that even if Senior Homeshares elects to delete any Content from the view of others, such information may still be stored on other databases, specifically including those kept for archival purposes. Furthermore, while we may honor your request to remove any Content, any Content that was previously shared with a member or other third party at your consent will be subject to their own privacy policies and user agreements and cannot be deleted or removed by Senior Homeshares. Senior Homeshares will not endeavor to retrieve deleted content from our archives in order to erase it from the archives. Also members should be aware that any Content that you post may have been republished or distributed prior to deletion and may remain publicly available on another portion of the Site. Finally, it is important for you to be mindful that the Content you create on the Site may be available to the general public and may be collected, copied or indexed by third parties such as search engines.
JURISDICTION
The Site is maintained in the United States of America. By using the Site or submitting any information to the Site, you authorize the export of PI to the United States of America and its storage and use, as specified in this Privacy Policy.
CHOICE OF LAW
This Privacy Policy and our legal obligations hereunder are subject to the laws of the State of Colorado and the United States of America. Except to the extent prohibited by Federal law, the exclusive venue for any action arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy shall be the Superior Court for the Judicial District of Denver in Denver, Colorado.
YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
California law permits residents of California to request certain details about what PI a company shares with third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. In the event that you submit a request under this law, please submit your request to Member Service, attn: California Privacy.
UPDATES TO PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, so please review it frequently. If Senior Homeshares decides to change this Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on the Site. Additionally, we may elect to inform members of any change to the current Privacy Policy by email at the email address provided on the member’s account.
Your continued use of the Site following such modifications will be subject to the revised Privacy Policy, which is in place each time you log into or otherwise visit the Site. Your use of the Site will always be governed by the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use posted at the time, whether you have reviewed them or not.
